Kittens dressed up as pumpkins for the Halloween party

How cute are these autumn decorations? In an autumn branch or somewhere in the house as an autumn decoration!

How to do:

The body:

Cut the polystyrene ball in half and use one half. Apply a thin layer of glue to the polystyrene and cover it vertically with spherical strips of clay. Press everything together well. This quickly creates a pumpkin shape. Make a small collar, which you will paint green later.

The arms, legs and head:

To make it stronger, we insert a small stick for one half into the polystyrene and on the other side we press the legs/arms or the head to it. A little glue also helps for extra strength.

The head is a circle where you immediately squeeze the ears (small dots) a little at the top end. Make a nice face with a spatula. Whiskers are iron wires or a few hairs from a broom or brush.

The legs and arms are a bit thick strings with toe grooves (3) pressed in. The arms are extra long, because we fold the ends of them forward so that the pussy can hang after drying. The folded part should be above the head.

Let the clay air dry or speed up the drying process by heating it in the oven on a very low setting.

Then paint with orange and yellow and with black the toes and nose, with black and white the eyes.

Have a lot Halloween fun!
