Holiday photo as a gift!
Hey, still processing holiday photos? Yes, just as a birthday present or even to give as a Christmas present later... for grandpa and grandma for example. But it can also be a photo of the first day of school or marriage, or birth or just a day out. Photos are always precious and suitable for any moment. A photo transferred to wood with the Photo Transfer Medium from Viva Decor gives an extra dimension, and is certainly a valuable gift!
Instructions:
[1] Print the motif mirror-inverted on paper with a laser printer.
[2] Then apply the ceramic effect paint to the entire canvas with a sponge.
[3] Apply the photo transfer medium first to the canvas and then to the printed image side with with a soft brush.
[4] Quickly place the image face down on the canvas and, using a silicone squeegee or dough scrape and smooth it evenly smooth over the surface from the centre outwards, applying light pressure.
[5] Remove excess medium. Let it dry for 12 hours.
[6] Soak the sponge in water and thoroughly wet the paper layer of the painting.
[7] Carefully rub away softened paper fibres.
[8] For a nice retro look, sand the edges of the picture with sandpaper.
[9] To seal the motif, coat it with Premium Clear Varnish after it has dried.
