First, degrease the glass with Alcohol Ketonatus 96%.
Then matt the glass with Satiné Matt Glas Weiss.
In this creation, two types of houses are made, of plaster and of wood.
The houses with the closed windows were made with the silicone mold and Stafil casting gypsum powder.
The other houses with open windows are made of wood.
All these products can be found at the bottom of this message.
Both types of houses are painted with Burnt Umber, Brown Earth and Raw Sienna.
Thoroughly dilute the paint with water.
Do not paint the windows of the plaster houses brown, they are lightly touched yellow with Porcelaine 150.
The porcelain paint remains shiny and gives an illuminated appearance.
Finally, line all the edges with white paint.
Stick the houses on the frosted glass with a glue gun.
Splash diluted white paint over the houses and glassware. Use a spatter brush, a hard brush or an old toothbrush for this.
Then blow dry everything.
As a finishing touch you apply thick layers of snow with Eis-Effekt white everywhere, also on the window frames!
The trees are painted the same and come from another ready-made set by Stafil.
You can also make a mold from these wooden trees and fill them with plaster.
Another alternative is to make the trees yourself from Do & Dry clay. Nice also as a present........
As you can see from the photos, it is nice for the time around Sinterklaas in the Netherlands, you can use or leave it there until Christmas.
Have fun with all the creative preparations for the holidays!
