Happy Fish!

We are splashing into summer!

How do you make these cheerful fish?

  • Make a 2.5 cm ball of clay for a 5.5 cm fish.
  • Make a 4.5 cm roll of the 2.5 cm ball.
  • Flatten the end of this and cut or cut 1 cm in the middle.
  • Bend the ends up and down.
  • Flatten the gills as shown, they will grow to about 1.8 cm.
  • At the bottom of the head are also protrusions of 0.5 cm.
  • Prick the eyes with an embossing pen or cocktail stick and draw the eye lines and the beak.
  • First color the fish yellow and put orange on top and against it.
  • Put the fish on sticks with a little glue, paint the sticks dark green first, and place them in sand or soil like here in this plant vase.
  • (The vase pictured is very large, you can always opt for smaller models.
  • Put Inka Gold or a gold paint on the belly of the fish for a shine effect like scales.
  • Finish with a gloss varnish if necessary.

Lots of fun!
